Administration
Principal
Ms. Anne Warren
Being a Colorado native, I have lived along the Front Range my entire life. I love to spend my spare time hiking, camping, fishing, and riding our atv with my husband, Chris. We have two grown boys and two young grandchildren. This is my 28th year in education; I was an elementary classroom teacher for 21 years before going into administration, having taught in Academy D20, Pueblo City Schools, and FFC8. I have been an Assistant Principal for the past 6 years, spending one year at Weikel Elementary and five years at Mesa Elementary. I am so excited to be at Eagleside; I love the relationships I'm building with students and families as we work to get to know each other. We’ve gotten this school year off to a great start and I look forward to continuing to work with our staff, students, and community!
Eagleside is...Rising Strong!
Assistant Principal
Dr. Kelley Stone
Hi Eagleside!
I am honored to be a part of the Eagleside family! I have been in education for 13 years as a Kinder, 1st, and 4th-grade teacher, GT teacher, instructional coach, and instructional technology coordinator. I originally have a business degree where I worked in sales for many years. I learned drafting and design and worked at an engineering firm while studying to become a teacher. After I began my teaching career, I immediately jumped into a Masters in Educational Leadership program. Several years later, I went back to school to earn my Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a focus on Educational Technology. Although I have a doctorate degree, I am very happy being called "Ms. Stone".
A little about me: I live with my husband, three children, and three dogs. I have two daughters, 15 and 13 years old, and a 4-year-old son. We moved to Colorado 7 years ago to be near the mountains. When I'm not working, I'm driving my girls to their sports and choir events, hiking, reading, and playing dinosaurs with my son. I love doing anything outdoors.
Walt Disney once said, "Our greatest natural resource is the minds of our children." I am looking forward to fostering the creativity, magic, and wonders of our students.
Dean of Students
Ms. Jennifer Kinkennon
Hi! I’m Jenni Kinkennon, the Dean of Students. In my third year at Eagleside, I am excited to work with the students and families as we foster a sense of community, compassion, and continued growth and achievement. After earning my MA in teaching from Colorado College, I developed a passion for supporting students and our education system. I spent the first 12 years of my career in the classroom teaching 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. Now, in my second year as Dean, I oversee behavior, attendance, assessment, safety procedures, and gifted programming. I absolutely love coming to Eagleside everyday to work with our incredible students and staff. Outside of school I enjoy all things Colorado. As a native, my love of the mountains has kept me from moving anywhere else. I have three incredible kids; they are my world. My oldest is 16 and a senior at Fountain Fort Carson HS, my son is 14 and in his freshmen year at FFCHS, and my youngest is 11 and in 6th grade at Fountain MS.
2022-2023 is going to be great – Eagleside: Rising Strong, We Belong!
School Counselor
Ms. Jen Matli
Hello there,
My name is Jen Matli and I am the school counselor here at Eagleside Elementary. I am a Colorado native and grew up pretty close to here. I imagine I will always call Colorado home. I am starting my 9th year in the building and I absolutely love working with and supporting our students and families. I have been working with children/youth for the past 16 years. Some of the services/supports I provide in the building include: whole group (classroom) lessons/discussions for all grade levels, small group counseling, and individual counseling. I also work to provide support to families with any assistance they may need whether that be food, clothing, other living assistance, and/or help with referrals to community counseling and/or other community supports as needed. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you or your child need anything!!
School Psychologist
Dr. Cindy Goodwyn
I am excited to begin my 18th year as a school psychologist and my 6th year working for FFC8 at Eagleside, in addition to supporting Child Find for the district Early Intervention programs. I obtained my doctorate degree from the University of Arizona (BEAR DOWN!) and maintain my national certification as a school psychologist (NCSP). I apply my training, education and clinical experiences to help children succeed academically, socially, behaviorally and emotionally. I also enjoy collaborating with school staff, families, and community-based providers in developing plans and/or services necessary for students to be successful in school. Being a military spouse provided me many opportunities to work all across the country, but our family is now proud to call Colorado home. Outside of work, I enjoy kayaking, camping, and riding ATV's with my husband of nearly 28 years and our daughters. Feel free to contact me for information related to supports within the school, community, as well as any questions related to special education.
