Administration
Principal
Ms. Anne Warren
I believe in helping students learn and grow into independent thinkers who can problem solve, work with others, and demonstrate empathy on their path to adulthood. This year marks my 30th year in education; I was an elementary classroom teacher for 21 years before going into administration, having taught in Academy D20, Pueblo City Schools, and FFC8. I was an assistant principal in District 8 for six years, spending one year at Weikel Elementary and five years at Mesa Elementary before moving to Eagleside. As I enter my third year as principal of Eagleside, I am proud to be part of such a close-knit community with strong support for our students, families and learning. Being a Colorado native, I have lived along the Front Range my entire life and love everything Colorado! I enjoy spending my spare time hiking, camping, backpacking and generally exploring our state. Whenever I have the opportunity, I will choose to be outdoors or having fun with my two grown boys and two young grandchildren. Moving into the 2023-2024 school year, I look forward to continuing the great work taking place at Eagleside, working alongside our students, staff, and community.

Assistant Principal
Ms. Karisa Legg
Hello Eagleside Family!!
My name is Karisa Legg and I am honored and grateful to be joining the family as your new Assistant Principal. I was born and raised in Southern California, but I have spent the past 15 years in Salem, Oregon. While we loved our time in the Pacific NorthWest, we are thrilled to be in Colorado and soak up a little (ok, a lot) more sunshine. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have 4 amazing kiddos ages 7, 6, 4, and 2; two of which have joined the Eagleside family as well. We are a very active family and love all things sports and outdoors, including team sports (especially baseball), running, hiking, paddle boarding, etc. I come to you in my second year as an AP with prior experience as an instructional coach, reading specialist and having taught grades 1st through 4th. I am passionate about making school feel like home for students, their families and our staff. Thank you for welcoming me into your community and I look forward to serving you and your students!
Dean of Students
Ms. Jennifer Kinkennon
Hi! I’m Jenni Kinkennon, the Dean of Students. In my third year at Eagleside, I am excited to work with the students and families as we foster a sense of community, compassion, and continued growth and achievement. After earning my MA in teaching from Colorado College, I developed a passion for supporting students and our education system. I spent the first 12 years of my career in the classroom teaching 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. Now, in my second year as Dean, I oversee behavior, attendance, assessment, safety procedures, and gifted programming. I absolutely love coming to Eagleside everyday to work with our incredible students and staff. Outside of school I enjoy all things Colorado. As a native, my love of the mountains has kept me from moving anywhere else. I have three incredible kids; they are my world. My oldest is 16 and a senior at Fountain Fort Carson HS, my son is 14 and in his freshmen year at FFCHS, and my youngest is 11 and in 6th grade at Fountain MS.
School Counselor
Ms. Erin Murphy
Hello! My name is Erin Murphy and I am the new counselor here at Eagleside Elementary School. This is my 16th year in education and I have done everything from kindergarten to high school; teaching everything from science to PE. I spent the majority of my career doing middle school counseling and I am excited to move to the elementary level.
I am a native New Yorker (Go Yankees!) and though I miss the beaches of the East Coast, I have called Colorado my home for the past 8 years. In my spare time, my husband and I take our two little girls to almost every park in Colorado. We love being outside and enjoying the sunshine.
School Psychologist
Dr. Cindy Goodwyn
I am excited to begin my 19th year as a school psychologist and my 7th year working for FFC8 at Eagleside. My passion for school psychology is deeply rooted in my desire to help our students thrive! I enjoy collaborating with our families, fellow school staff, and community-based providers in developing plans and/or services necessary to support our students. Being a military spouse provided me many opportunities to work all across the country, but our family is now proud to call Colorado home. Outside of work, I enjoy kayaking, camping, and riding atvs with my husband of nearly 29 years and our family. Feel free to contact me for information related to supports within the school, community, as well as any questions related to special education.
