Postsecondary and Workforce Readiness

School is here to help students learn the skills they need to be successful after they graduate. A good education helps people become active and helpful members of their community by:

  • Helping students believe they can grow and improve

  • Building strong leaders for the future

  • Getting students develop a growth mindset to prepare them for college and postsecondary training

  • Giving students tools to figure out what they want to do in life

  • Inspiring students to be curious and ask questions

  • Teaching everyday skills to live on their own

  • Showing students how to get and keep a job

Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8 uses smart strategies to help every student succeed. This includes making sure students move smoothly from grade to grade and from one school level to the next—like going from 2nd to 3rd grade, or from middle school to high school. FFC8 is dedicated to helping all students reach their goals.

FFC8 VISION

Using effective, well-organized, connected lessons that are aligned across the district to help students build the skills they need to become successful, independent adults. These changes ensure students are ready for life after high school and for careers in today’s fast-changing world.
