Nurse Kim

Hello!

My name is Kim Bedford and I am the school nurse here at Eagleside. I was born here in Colorado, moved around some growing up and for college, but ended up right back in this beautiful state for the last 19 years. I found myself here in Colorado Springs 5 years ago. This is my third year as a part of the awesome Eagleside family.

Here at Eagleside my jobs are varied and always changing. Band aids and ice packs are always a part of it but I also write individualized health plans for our students with medical needs, perform yearly vision and hearing screening, assist with and teach health and wellness lessons in the classroom, administer medications and procedures ordered by physicians, help coordinate care for students with community partners, and of course COVID testing and tracing. I have thoroughly enjoyed the last few years at Eagleside and look forward to this new year full of opportunities. I wish you all health and happiness.
