Hello, my name is Anna Barcenas and I work at Eagleside Elementary school as a autism para. I’ve been working at Eagleside since August of 2021. I’m from Mannheim, Germany. On my free time I like to workout or read books.
I am a Paraeducator in the Autism classroom. This is my first year working here at Eagleside and I couldn’t be more excited! Before I was here, I was subbing throughout the district. Both of my boys attend Eagleside, Noel (1st) and William (3rd). I was born in Puerto Rico and I’m an Army Brat turned military spouse. We have a Husky and two Tabby cats. In my spare time, I enjoy staying home, eating great food, watching movies, hanging out with friends & family, and doing yoga.

Hi, my name is Josette Ogren. I’m originally from New Mexico and after graduating from high school I studied commercial art in Phoenix, Arizona. Afterwards, I moved back home and studied social and behavioral science. Once I did that, I decided to join the Army. I was in for a short 5 ½ years and was forced out due to a debilitating back injury. I choose Fort Carson as my final duty station after serving in Korea. After the Army I continued working on post with a company who specialized in putting adults to work that had a wide range of disabilities. I also went back to school again and studied business management. I later received an opportunity through a friend to work with kids on the spectrum in District 8. I started working for District 8 in the autism program and haven’t looked back. I love spending time with my husband and taking walks with my dog. My hobbies consist of crafting and sewing. I love to cook and trying new recipes. I also love to read and garden as well.
